MONSTER

I see the monster inside you
As I look into your eyes
All my life I've seen you
Like a nightmare in disguise

You smile and everyone 
Like the friend you can't be
But sooner or later everyone
Gets a look inside and sees

That you have a monster inside you
The one who takes me home
That's why I had to give up on you
Before my confidence was gone
